I never met Malcolm McLaren, but am sad to hear he has died just the same. The band he formed, or at least gets credit for forming, was responsible for one of the wildest nights of photography during my 40+ years of shooting. The Sex Pistols‘ first American concert was right here in Atlanta at the original Great Southeast Music Hall on January 5, 1978. IMHO, that was the night Punk was born in the USA.

Thanks for stopping by. I think my ears are still ringing from standing right in front of speakers.
