burger

Grind House Killer Burgers, IMHO, the best burger in Atlanta. My wife had the EURO STYLE, sauteed mushrooms, swiss cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, and I had the GRINDHOUSE STYLE, lettuce, grilled onions, pickles, american cheese, grindhouse sauce.

GRINDHOUSE STYLE (rings in back)

We also split VIDALIA ONION RINGS, hand sliced and lightly battered, and SWEET POTATO KETTLE CHIPS, fresh cut and spice dusted. The Vidalia rings were the better of the two, but you’d want to eat them right away. I don’t think they’d keep their crispness long enough for a take out order. The chips were good and would be more portable, but we both liked the rings better.

SWEET POTATO KETTLE CHIPS

They’re in the Sweet Auburn Curb Market on Edgewood Avenue in downtown Atlanta. If you’ve driven through Atlanta on the expressway, you passed almost directly overhead.

the thing is, it really is “killer”. The whole market is for that matter, but Grind House is my favorite stop there.

I really shouldn’t be hungry considering I just ate, but damn, this looks killer. Get it? Killer! 🙂
